Volga Linen is launching four new fabric collections for London Design Week 2016, including a charming range of Russian folklore designs, a softly textured linen twill, and an elegant broad stripe with a darker top stitch detail.

The Print Collection, taken from a Russian archive of original lino cut designs for textiles from the beginning of the 20th century. There are influences from Russian folklore, central Asia and more traditional European style. The linen used is 200g, with both ivory and natural backgrounds, and the fabric is suitable for curtains, blinds, cushion covers, lampshades and loose covers.
Ela – Broad Stripe: an elegant light-weight linen with a bold white and subtle coloured stripe with a darker top stitch detail. Very soft and semi-sheer. The fabric is available by the metre in 3m widths, as well as ready to hang curtains.
Check Duvet Cover, 100% soft washed linen, which needs no ironing, just machine wash and a gentle tumble. From £215 for a single.
