How The House Directory Began
Founded in 2001 by two highly experienced interior journalists, Nicolette Le Pelley and Cheryl Knorr, The House Directory is the original on-line sourcebook of the finest design professionals, craftsmen, textiles, wallpapers, paints, antiques, lighting, furnishings, flooring & rugs, ceramics & home accessories, garden design & outdoor living for the design community and our followers. Since Nicolette and Cheryl retired in 2021, The House Directory has been headed by Angel Tan, an architect and interior designer with the support of a team of associates.
