Founded in 2001 ‘to reconcile the realms of design architecture art and manufacture’ izé develops and manufactures bespoke and production hardware. The company works with architects and interior designers including Eric Parry Kenneth Grange CBE Sergison Bates Zaha Hadid Mark Pimlott and Terence Woodgate. izé also manufactures classic modernist handles including works by designers from Adolf Loos to Wells Coates. They are also happy to reproduce or adapt historical items. izé’s door handles have been exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Design Museum in London and many are in the V&A’s permanent collection. The handle show here is a new product by Holland-based designer PeLi with 3D printing.
