Traditional woodfinishing and restoration skills. A large proportion of their work is carried out in period buildings with panelled rooms. They are often asked to colour balance faded areas clean and revive or even re-polish completely always with respect for the age and patina of the wood. They work regularly for the Houses of Parliament where they recently carried out work in both the Lords and Commons chambers as well as the Queens robing rooms. They regularly re-polish boardroom furniture in time for important meetings and work for designers and architects on original one-off pieces.
