Lizzi Porter trained as an apprentice to Salvatore Titian, restorer of some of the finest antiques, learning skills including gesso work, gilding, lacquerwork, replacing broken ornament and colour-matching antique painted finishes. Since 1995 she has worked freelance for top interior designers, (including Nicky Haslam) architects, curators, and private clients undertaking all types of interior decorative finishes, including trompe l’oeil, panelling, chinoiserie, bumble bees swarming through a window, a stray leaf on a floor board, marbling a chimney piece. She is prepared to paint anything you may imagine and will undertake commissions worldwide.
