Malabar’s design team delights in using embroidery and its embroidered collections use both hand and machine techniques. Latest designs include ‘Chantilly’ a collection of appliquéd linens and cotton voiles with delicate filigree embroidery and ‘Tao’ an exotic collection of chinoiserie embroideries on silk and linen. Other embroidered fabrics include ‘Mandara’ a magnificent silk collection consisting of two floral embroideries and ‘Grande Indienne’ a ravishing botanical design with a full-blown embroidered rose motif on a silk ground.
