Ariadne distributes classic furnishing fabrics designed by Roger Woods artist and designer. These linen/cotton cloths have a mellow palette and a timeless elegance and have been selling at the top of the market for 20 years. This one is a printed adaptation of late 17th century crewelwork embroidered bed hanging with a tiger striped tree of life format. Indian imported cloths stongly influenced needleworkers of the William and Mary period. The pattern has been given a subtle toning and colouration to give the illusion of the original embroidery.
