Besso Ceramique works from a tiny atelier in Brittany in France producing truly unique entirely handmade tiles. All their glazes are handmade too – from basic raw materials and to their own recipes. The colour range is derived from what ‘natural’ metal oxides such as iron copper and cobalt can be ‘coaxed’ to produce. The results are simply extraordinary. You can even get involved in the creative process – design and make printing blocks from which they will produce your own bespoke range of tiles.
