Trellis from Anthony de GreyWood trellis can be used as a decorative feature, to screen down-pipes on exterior walls, or to increasing security. A high trellis fence is an ornamental defence against burglars. Anthony de Grey offer five ranges of architectural trellis with eight lattice options, available in a choice of colours.

Fired Earth paintsFired Earth‘s water-based ‘super eggshell’ dries to a subtle low sheen and is formulated to resist moisture, staining and general wear and tear. It can also be used on suitably primed exterior woodwork. Sea Snail is similar to the purple pictured.

paint colours from Little Greene

The historic paint company Little Greene‘s paints feature high pigmentation and quality ingredients which affect the finish and the undertones of colour. Their ‘acrylic eggshell’ in  Firefly 141 from the English Heritage range looks like the red trellis in our main image.

colours from Paint & Paper Library

Paint & Paper Library‘s ‘oil eggshell’ is a protective and durable low odour oil-based paint suitable for all interior and exterior wood and metalwork. Paint & Paper Library describe their Blue Gum shade as  ‘smart without appearing pompous’. It’s very like the dark blue/green trellis.

Sanderson PaintsSpectrum paints from Sanderson provide superb coverage, top quality and finish. For woodwork and metalwork ‘eggshell’ paints have an attractive flat quality, while the ‘gloss’ dries to a very smart high sheen. Light Rose 91 is similar to the pink trellis panel.

Paint colours from Mylands

Mylands have made fine quality paints since 1884. Should none of their 120 Colours Of London quite fit the bill, they offer a bespoke colour-matching service. Lolly Pop, in Mylands ‘wood & metal water-based environmental paint’ range would create a splash of colour on the roof of a beech hut.

Zoffany Paint from designerpaintThe Brewers group has been established as a family business since 1904 and now has over 130 branches in the UK and an internet arm, Designerpaint. It provides leading paint brands from Albany to Cole & Son, Designers Guild, Farrow & Ball, Fired Earth, Paint Library, Sanderson and Zoffany and can offer advice on the right finish for interior or exterior paintwork. Designerpaint also provides guidance on all aspects of paint decoration and choosing the right tools for the job. Vermeer Yellow from Zoffany’s paint range is a striking option for the trellis trim.
