Space Innovation has launched a unique collection of wallpapers based on designs from The Warner Textile Archive – Britain’s second largest collection of flat textiles, spanning over two centuries of creativity and commerce. Digitally printed to order as single rolls, repeating panels or large format murals. They range from a 1930s vintage lino-cut through to a beautiful 19th century design for woven silk.
‘Giraffes’ is from a 1939 hand lino-print by the Glaswegian designer Bruce Gibson.
This whimsical 1950s ‘Painted Vases’ design is by the Berlin-based Willy Hermann Studio, and was originally used as a screen-printed fabric.
‘Rouen’ is a charming design based on a French printed cotton of the 1950s.
All these wallpapers retail at £85 a roll (£3.95 for a sample)
