One of Britain’s largest craft furniture makers, Halo’s company roots are in the antiques business. There are pieces for every room in styles ranging from classic to contemporary, all with a distinctly British look and vintage feel. These are some of our favourite recent launches.
The ‘Richmond’ dining chair has a curvaceous ‘butterfly’ shape and smart nailing detail in antique brass or shiny steel. It comes in Halo’s wide range of distressed leathers and vintage moleskin fabrics. From £275 each.
Inspired by a 1970s design, the ‘Hurlingham’ sofa has a retro style. Entirely hand-made and hand-finished, it comes in a choice of nine differently distressed leathers. The compact two-seater shown here is £1775, and the generously-proportioned armchair is £1295. there is also a three-seater sofa for £2195.
The ‘Professor’ chair is the perfect small leather armchair, comfortable enough to sit in and read for hours. Its mix of leather and checked tweed gives it a lived-in vintage look. Price as shown, in Ailsa Plaid is £790. It’s shown here with a matching ‘Benson’ footstool, £510.
Halo has a wide range of handmade trunks in metal and antiqued leathers. Available in many sizes, shapes and finishes, and are an ideal combination of a table with storage. This ‘Stoneyhurst’ Lamp Table, in a brushed steel finish, is £1,160.
