Beldi is a Moroccan word meaning traditional rural and natural. Beldi rugs are hand-crafted from the wool of a special breed of sheep that roams Morocco’s rugged Middle Atlas Mountains historic home of the Berbers. The company sources vintage rugs some dating back to the 1940s and 50s (some in minimalist designs others in a riot of colours) as well as offering new Beni Ouarain rugs which can be made to any size and pattern to order.
