Tongue-and-groove bathroom

Darryl Carter's bathroom

Washington DC-based designer Darryl Carter has a knack for offsetting  biscuit and linen palettes with dark wood.  This bathroom is in his Virginia farmhouse . Situated against pristine white tongue-and-groove panelling the antique free-standing bath is the focal point of the bathroom; next to it is an old milking stool, an antique shop find.
