A selection of antique and new bathroom taps, shower heads and levers. Salvaged pieces are sourced predominantly in France. The constantly-changing stock includes vintage copper tubs and swan-neck taps (see image above), prized for their original patina.
Each antique bath, basin and tap is immaculately restored in their workshop by a team of eight, and finished to the client’s specification. Each item comes complete with fittings that are converted to fit modern pipe sizes worldwide, so installation is straightforward. There are normally about 200 original items in stock.
The Water Monopoly is also the UK distributor for Volevatch, the French manufacturer of exquisite taps and accessories that capture the spirit of the early 1900s.
