With the huge range of designer paints currently available it’s difficult to know where to begin to find a sunny yet neutral, atmospheric off-white. Sure winners are Winter White 25 from Sanderson and Pointing 2003 from Farrow & Ball .
The Stencil Library
Look closely at the stable-doored shelving unit and you’ll see stencilled numbers and letters on each door. The Stencil Library have a very similar italic ‘Copperplate Alphabet 303′ in their range. It’s £37.45 for the complete alphabet and numbers.
Priors Reclamation kitchen doors
The inspirational painted shelving unit in this kitchen features ledged and braced doors with iron T hinges. Priors Reclamation supply similar doors made by local craftsmen. They would need sizes and detailed drawings of your requirements (with height, width, thickness and ledge and brace widths), in order to provide a quote. Thier doors are made from antique reclaimed pine and are supplied sanded and prepared for your choice of finish. Priors also supply these hand-forged T hinges.
IKEA shelving unit
These wooden brackets from IKEA are quite like those on the painted shelving unit. Called ‘Ekby Stilig’, they are £4.09 each in solid wood and in a choice of two sizes: 17 or 26 cm.
