Hannah Bowen explores the ancient Japanese theme of ‘imperfectly beautiful’ and the inspiration behind Scions’s Japandi collection, which incorporates a Japanese aesthetic with Scandi influences, at Style Library. First Floor, South Dome 3 pm
Davidson is hosting a discussion on A/W18 design trends with Karen Howes of Taylor Howes, Gemma Martinez de Ana of Bonadea and florist Larry Walshe chaired by Lucy Cleland, editor of Country & Town House. Davidson are also launching their first collaboration, the Howes Dining Table, with a demonstration on how to dress the ultimate table with flowers and tableware. First Floor, South Dome 3 pm-5pm

Samuel Heath hosts a Continued Professional Development accredited seminar on modern and traditional manufacturing techniques. Wendy Cushing will be presenting a fascinating discussion regarding the traditional crafts of the Moroccan Berber culture and the making of Berber tassels and trimmings drawn from traditional Moroccan jewellery. ‘An Afternoon With Brian Turner Trimmings.’ Marian Turner, from Brian Turner Trimmings, will be demonstrating how their beautiful trimmings and tassels are created. You can also have a go at creating one yourself at Tissus d’Helene. Fourth Floor, Design Centre East 12 pm – 6 pm

‘The Healing Power of Colour’. Author and energy healer Georgia Coleridge presents an experimental workshop: seven easy ways to boost your health, heal your home and enrich your life with colour, at Lewis & Wood. First Floor, Design Centre East 2:30 pm. At 3 pm Georgia Coleridge will be signing copies of her new book, The Chakra Project
