I am trying to source brick flooring for my entire downstairs including the kitchen, utility, entrance hall and living room. It will be continued on to an outside patio. It needs to be suitable for use with underfloor heating. Please could you recommend suppliers?

Have you tried the York Handmade Brick Company? They have a wide range of bricks including cobbles and terracotta pavers which would be suitable for indoors and outside. If you can't see what you are looking for on their website, do give them a call as they also specialize in bespoke brickwork.

Where can I find tiles with a chinoiserie motif?

Fired Earth's 'English Craft' range includes 'Chelsworth' - a handmade and hand-decorated Chinoiserie pattern from the studios of Alice Gibbons. The tile was inspired by an early 19th century design.
