Kitchens & Tableware | Kitchen Worktops & Splashbacks
Tile of Spain represents a number of ceramic brands that specialise in ultra-thin ceramic slabs, ideal for kitchen islands, counters, fronts or splashbacks. Depending on their use, surfaces can be 4mm, 6mm, 12mm or 20mm and can replicate raw materials such as marble, cement or stone, yet still provide all the hardwearing benefits of ceramic. In the kitchen, porcelain is ideal as it’s non-porous, hygienic, easy to install and maintain. Specially produced technical porcelain is resistant to water, chemicals, stains and heat. It can be co-ordinated with slabs on wall and floor for an all-over effect. Shown here: Neolith Beton

Gardens | Outdoor Paving & Surfaces
For exterior use, porcelain is ideal. It is durable, non-porous and frost-resistant, so can be used in outdoor settings such as patios or terraces. There are anti-slip versions available and also formats that are designed to segue from inside to out. In fact a number of Spanish manufacturers have developed special 2cm thick tiles for ease of installation; these can be laid directly on grass or sand, so no substrate is required. Tiles for patios come in various styles, shapes and colours; porcelain can even faithfully replicate stone flags, teak decking or terracotta. Shown here: Ceramica Mayor Lao
