Fabrics | Major Fabric Companies
The Design Archives is the brainchild of Sharon Crowson whose family business, Crowson Fabrics, established in 1978, became one of the world’s leading producers, designers and suppliers of home furnishings. Sharon has taken on the huge archive of designs curated by her father and has created a series of fabric collections, bringing to life some of the archive’s most beautiful designs. There are five distinctive patterned, and two plain collections, both of which offer a palette of colours from bold and vibrant oranges and yellows through to subtle pastels, in a range of quality linen, wool and cotton base cloths, all of which are produced in the UK. The latest new “Shala” collection represents the very best of this eclectic brand with three distinctive designs in complementing colourways.

Fabrics | Where To See A Large Selection
The Design Archives range includes seven distinct patterned and plain collections offering a range of colours from bold and vibrant oranges and yellows, through to a subtle pastel palette, in a selection of quality linen, wool and cotton base cloths, all of which are produced in the UK and are ideal for upholstery and curtains. The brand new “Shala” collection is a stunning addition to the brands' portfolio, with a classic French toile, a botanically inspired chinoiserie and detailed floral Indian design. The showroom is based in Lots Road, Chelsea and welcomes visitors to browse the collections by appointment.
