Paint, Painters & Wall Finishes | Decorative Painters & Plaster Finishes
Phyllis is experienced in a range of paint and plaster finishes; including marbling, wood graining, grisaille, polish plaster, gesso and bas relief. She enjoys drawing from her interest in the natural world and the history of art to come up with a unique proposal for each project. In 2021 she was awarded a QEST scholarship to study marbling and wood graining under the master painter Pierre Beaudry in London. Every project is approached from a place of curiosity, with sensitivity to the context and aims of the work, and embracing collaboration with other disciplines.

Restorers & Craftsmen | Sculpture/Stone/Marble/Terracotta/Ceramic
With experience in restoration work in museums and churches, Phyllis is able to replicate or match repair damage to marble, wood or stone surfaces; whether they are genuine or painted. She is comfortable working on building sites of any size, from painting large pillars or a high ceiling from a scissor lift or cherry picker, to smaller residential sites, or even installing work made in advance in the studio. Every project is approached from a place of curiosity, with sensitivity to the context and aims of the work, and embracing collaboration with other disciplines.

Restorers & Craftsmen | Other Specialists
Working as both a fine and decorative artist has allowed Phyllis to amass an in-depth knowledge of materials in order to manipulate them and create highly specific and unique works for a range of settings. From works of verre eglomise, painted screens, bas relief panels to works on paper; every project is approached from a place of curiosity, with sensitivity to the context and aims of the work, and embracing collaboration with other disciplines, whether creating work for an individual, a designer or as part of a bigger project.
