A special technique using oxidation and corrosion of gold, silver, copper and aluminium leaves creates stunningly opulent colours. After wafer thin handmade Washi paper is lined, the metal leaves are laid and pressed section by section. They are available in four patterns: Bamboo, Camellia, Trees and Lotus and bespoke designs up to 100cm in repeat may also be created. A translucent version, the most recent addition, lets through light if applied on glass or resin.
Bring a breath of fresh air to interiors with this range of contemporary and traditional wallpapers drawing inspiration from everything from antique fabrics and period illustrations to idyllic places. Many designs from the new Islands Collection feature the natural world: whales, lobsters, seashells, coral and tropical birds. Also, scenic papers, raffia textures, geometric motifs and metallics in a broad, tonal palette. Trade enquiries welcome - and there's a bespoke printing service. Pictured, Martinique Wallpaper.

Lewis & Wood was established 25 years ago by Stephen Lewis and interior designer Joanna Wood. The company is famous for its signature Wide-Width Wallpapers. Pictured is Pashmina in Meissen. The Pashmina wallpaper collection is derived from original fabric designs, where colours were reversed to give the effect of white paint on coloured linen. The result is like fragile china and each design is named after a famous ceramic house. Lewis & Wood is also renowned for its range of metallic versions of many papers plus a bespoke service offering custom printing of scale and colour.
