An original collection in checks and stripes and the award-winning 'Sketchbook' collection of wallpapers and fabrics inspired by Cecil Beaton's fashion sketches from his 1954 book, 'The Glass of Fashion'. Made available through the National Portrait Gallery, the range, in silks, cottons and linens, features iconic 50s' designs including flowers, sailors, exotic hats and couture-clad ladies.
Cloth & Clover’s designer Tania McIvor looks to the past when designing her fabric range, in particular to antique printed textiles and traditional arts and crafts. The fabrics have a rustic prettiness and are evocative of the faded comfort of historic country house interiors. Keen to support British craftsmanship, Cloth & Clover’s designs are printed in England on a Scottish linen base cloth.
Interior designer Francois Gilles, already well known for his vintage Moroccan rugs, has launched a new range of woven to order contemporary Moroccan fabrics, inspired by these rugs, particularly the Beni Ourain. There is also a new range of 'Merzouga' rugs, woven in the desert in the south of Morocco from recycled wool, and Francois also stocks a range of beautiful antique and one-off pieces of fabric that he has collected on his travels. His fabrics are available through George Spencer Designs.

An example is the Custom Wing Chair pictured, a vintage 1970's wing chair recovered in a Soviet Cold War Great Coat, with deconstructed sides and back exposing chair frame and webbing, There's a flash red neck cover and front arm caps and brass tacks to the front edge. Pieces can be made using tweed, velvet and felt from current fabric collections or customers own flame retardant fabrics.

The pretty Seaweed Collection is printed in the UK on top-quality papers, linens, cottons and velvets. Any design can be printed in your own colours, and the scale of any pattern can be increased or decreased. Delivery is normally within 4 weeks.
