Bert’s Barges

Bert & May, known for their distinctive reclaimed and new tiles, have just launched Bert & May Spaces,  and Phase 1 is ‘Bert’s Barges’, in urban and country versions. This one, unveiled at the recent Clerkenwell Design Week, is their City Barge: the ultimate bachelor/bachelorette pad, providing the city dweller with a one bedroom luxury floating suite. With its matt black exterior and its Scandinavian style interior, the city barge creates the perfect blend of sophistication and simplicity. Made to order, it comes  complete with a hidden foldaway double bed for guest stays, and a spacious rooftop terrace for entertaining.

The City Barge shown here is 14.63m in length by 3.35m in width.
Fully Fitted Price: £150,000 (includes all fittings, excludes furniture).
First Fit Price: £120,000 (includes Bert & May cladding and flooring but excludes fittings).

The other version, The Country Pad Barge, is the ideal two bedroom hideaway for couples and
families wishing to enjoy an affordable and exciting alternative to the traditional holiday home. It’s
15.85m in length by 3.5m in width.

The barges are manufactured in the UK and can be customised by Bert & May’s in-house team. Contact the design team on design@bertandmay.com or call 0203 673 4264.
