Ben Pentreath sells such a great range of decorative and architectural plasterwork that you could even re-create your very own Soane Museum. The designs, by plastercast king Peter Hone, range from a three-foot long relief frieze for the wall to a two-inch crown for the table. There are plaques, brackets, lion heads, floral roundels, medallions and even Nebuchadnezzar's tomb filled with cameos of the Roman Emperors, not to mention the resin casts of Hercules and Sappho. All can be viewed in the shop and a selection is available from the website (in the Necessities department!).

Ben Pentreath is director of Working Group Design, a London-based architectural design company that works closely with developers to improve the quality of new housing in the UK. His practice concentrates particularly on new housing and he is working on several projects for the Duchy of Cornwall and other landowners. Alongside these development projects, Ben designs a number of individual private houses and buildings. Working Group Design also offers interior decoration, which it sees as a natural extension of architecture.
