They source some of the most interesting antique lighting available, which is then cleaned, restored and rewired to British standards. They also stock spare parts - from crystal drops to roses and light bulbs. Agapanthus Antiques offers a lighting restoration service and will clean lights in-situ in the North West. They will also source the type of period lights you are after. The shop holds other stock, mainly from France, including country-style kitchenalia, enamel ware, wrought-iron ware, hand-painted furniture and chairs and stools reupholstered in vintage French fabrics. The English House light fittings are handmade in England. They are designed with classical simplicity and with honesty to materials by architect Charles Morris. The lights are at home in every period of building from manor house to modern studio, and from intimate sitting room to large public space. The collection covers chandeliers, candelabra, single and double-armed wall lights, swivel table and reading lamps, ceiling lantern and exterior wall lantern. The chandelier is supplied with a unique link hook system, which is an integral part of the design. The lights are made of patinated steel and the lanterns are painted off black.
