Rough Old Glass produce a range of hand-silvered, antiqued mirror plates that accurately portray the unique qualities of old mirror glass. Their mirror glass is suitable for domestic or commercial, decorative and architectural applications. They can fit to your antique or reproduction frames, make custom-sized wall panels, splashbacks and tiles. Door panels, table tops, stair treads - if it can be made in glass they can silver and distress it. Glass can be toughened or bevelled, holes can be drilled and edges polished. As each piece is hand made they can tailor the glass to suit your requirements. Packing, delivery and insurance can be arranged worldwide. A templating and installation service is also offered.

Rupert Bevan's technique for making antiqued mirror glass arose from a demand by antique dealers requiring authentic looking mirror glass for 17th- 19th century mirror frames. Not only does Rupert Bevan's glass look stunning framed, it is also very popular for Art Deco overmantels, or as wall panelling. Rupert Bevan are also able to use their mirror glass to great effect on furniture. With many different types of finish possible they are able to develop and produce a look that is unique, with each piece of glass individually hand-finished in England.
