Borough Kitchen's London Cook Schools are now open, offering cookery classes in the Hampstead and Chiswick locations. Catered towards the urban home cook, the classes focus on culinary techniques that can be applied to any style of cooking. They offer a range of courses for all skill levels. Led by classically-trained chefs, the Cook School uses Borough Kitchen’s high quality products, giving participants a hands-on experience with a range of tools. Classes are limited in size, providing an intimate learning environment with personalised instruction.
The Royal School of Needlework was founded in 1872 and is the international centre of excellence for the art of hand-embroidery. Based at Hampton Court Palace in south west London, they offer a range of embroidery courses for all levels: day classes for beginners; a Certificate and Diploma course in Technical Hand Embroidery; a Future Tutors programme (training RSN tutors for the future) and a BA (Hons) Hand Embroidery for Fashion, Interiors, Textile Art. As a unique institution it teaches regionally in the UK in Durham City, Glasgow, Bristol and Rugby and in the USA and Japan. All embroidery tutors have been trained at the RSN and they bring to each student a wealth of experience, technical knowledge and enthusiasm.
