Nearly 30 years ago Rachel Simpson, director of The Rug Studio, began collecting rugs, kilims and textiles during the course of her travels. Over time she came to appreciate that an understanding of the geography, culture and migration of the tribes influenced the design of these pieces. A lifetime of studying the subtle nuances, handling rugs and textiles have enabled Rachel to discern copies from genuine fine examples of antique pieces. Opening hours Tues - Sat 10am - 5pm.
