Accessories

Here are some of the problems we have solved in the Accessories category:

I am looking for a gentleman’s valet (clothes stand) for our guest room and wondered where I could purchase one. I am looking for something classical with a bit of a retro twist.

Have you seen the Hudson Butler gentleman’s jacket stand made from metal, wood and mock croc leather from Mufti? Or their latest model, the Shikari suit stand which is hand-crafted from reclaimed Burmese teak and finished in a natural French polish?

Does anyone do fencing-themed accessories?

We haven’t had this question before! What about this delightful hand-blown crystal lampbase decorated with fencers from Clare Mosley Gilding ? She also specialises in verre églomisé (the technique of laying silver & gold leaf onto glass which gives the effect of mirror); her panels have been used by decorators in hallways, dining rooms, even cupboard doors. Everything is made in her London workshop using traditional methods and authentic materials.

We’re an interior design company looking for a supplier who can ‘antique’ mirror a wall in panels… The mirror would not be framed and the supplier would preferably need to bond the mirror to the wall. We’re specifically looking for that antiqued ‘worn’ look. It would be great if you had any suggestions as to who we may call for this.

Bevan & Hely-HutchinsonDesigners Bevan & Hely-Hutchinson can provide you with antiqued mirror glass as an overmantel or in panels - they have made entire rooms in mirror glass. Look up www.bandhh.com
